Entr'acte

(from French "between acts”)

Act one, that serves as an introduction to this enquiry, has come to a close. And it is important to rest from abstract thinking. Michael is tired of it and there is yet more to come.

So let us get into something very real, very close. Friendship. Let us look at the photographs of friends, let us contemplate the idea of friendship. Is it a construct, a concept, another abstraction invented by humans, or is it something solid and real?

Probably you do not know the people present in these photographs, but I bet you can feel what friendship is. The reality of friendship is solid, it is warm, it is substantial.

Much more real, than, say a piece of software, or numbers in a banking app. Maybe all these things are real, and there are just layers of reality?
