How does it so happen that this geometry contains an infinite amount of these strange rules where circles, triangles and all sorts of shapes interact with each other following some order? We do not make up these things, we discover them.

But sooner or later, as we are getting out of the hypnotic contemplation of the psychedelic shapes and points, flowing and pulsing, moving around, transforming into other shapes – the question comes to us…

Is that all there is to geometry?

The axiom on which this edifice is built starts to feel blurry and uncertain. Parallel lines do not intersect…, looks like they don’t…, but do they?

After 2000 years of Euclidian way of seeing reality, another inquisitive soul, this time a Russian one, dares to ask the question and goes beyond it.

“All parallel lines eventually intersect !”, – exclaims Lobachevsky in the ecstasy of a breakthrough, breaching a portal to a brand new world… the world of curved spacetime.

In a world where space is curved and bent parallel lines do intersect, triangles are all weary and shaky, time slows down, there is no such thing as simultaneity, everything is relative and abstract…

Everything. Except for a new fundamental truth, the speed of light. It sounds like this time, we are indeed getting closer to the ultimate giant Turtle? The One, that stands on nothingness… Or are we.

Paradox is a portal to a new way of understanding reality. Closer to what reality really is. These things sound so virtual, and abstract, yet it is precisely because of these things that we build spaceships and satellites.
