1. Just as a an example: Russian independent channel Dozhd (TV Rain) faced immense backlash and was effectively taken off the air after hosting an online poll on January 26, 2014, with the question: "Should the city of Leningrad have been surrendered to save hundreds of thousands of lives?", questioning Stalin’s "Not a Step Back" Strategy ordering the army to hold all positions at all costs. It is very symptomatic how easy it is to hurt the feelings of Russian people.

5. There is a popular legend that Russian oligarch Boris Berezovsky, who controlled some of the country's most influential media channels, once said: “Give me the TV remote, and in six months I'll make a barstool president.” Other versions of the quote attribute to him claims that he could make a monkey or a schoolboy president. No reliable evidence exists that Berezovsky actually said these words, but it is a symbolic legend.
6. I would recommend mainly to read Pelevin’s Generation “P”.

9. I recommend exploring Jakob Böhme‘s teaching about the Ungrund through the interpretation of a great Russian philosopher Nikolai Berdiaev.
10. Read Ward No 6 by by Anton Pavlovich Chekhov.
