Manifesto

Gravity & Entropy is a creative collective and a publishing & production studio. We produce and publish stories, photographs, documentary and fiction films, artworks, philosophical essays and everything in between.

We are an anti-profit bureau of investigation that is focused on exploring human condition, the different manifestations of what it is to be human. We use art, anthropology, philosophy to bring our vision and ideas to life and to explore themes that we love and are curious about: fragile and shifting communities, global tourism and gentrification as a new existential condition, alternative politics, belonging, non-architecture, free education and much more.

Today we are living through yet another big transformation. As it often happens in human history, the seeming progress of this new revolution is accompanied by a decline in such basic fundamental things as generosity, solidarity, common values that people believe in and that leaders genuinely promote. A decline of humanness and all that it means in favour of a blind race for technological progress, hyper-profits, easy-to-digest fakes that lead to new forms of corruption, consumption and ultimately, the spreading of violence.

We are living in a new era of production of lies and fakes. Whereas mainstream western way of thinking promotes the paradigm of "post-truth", we believe that today's spreading of “deep fakes” and "informational wars" is one of the main reasons and drivers of this worrying decline of humanness. We believe that truth is in here.

Our mission is to challenge mainstream way of thinking and 'status quo', promote human-made and human-oriented arts and crafts, radical fresh ideas, freedom for human spirit and dignity and seek support for those who are threatened by today's rise of militarism and global gentrification.
